Who is Felicity Abbott?
Felicity Abbott is a graduate of The Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS) (MA (Hons) Film & Television in Production Design) and The University of Auckland Elam School of Fine Arts (BFA Sculpture). Felicity received the Fox Studios Australia award for Excellence in Design in 1999 and has designed for film and television in France, south-east Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Felicity's designs are diverse, evoking the memory of childhood in the ABC Logie-winning drama My Place, vibrant sixties Broome in the celebrated feature Bran Nue Dae, the magical realism of Sydney past in Julien Temple's Rose D'Or-winning film opera The Eternity Man and employ a disciplined palette to portray starkest Van Diemen's Land in Michael James Rowland's critically acclaimed The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce.
Felicity recently designed the Southern Star-Foxtel contemporary drama-series Spirited, starring Claudia Karvin as Suzy Darling, a dentist who encounters the ghost of an eighties English rock star and the second series of the award-winning drama My Place.
Felicity is represented by The Cameron Creswell Agency in Sydney, Australia.
