Who is Fong Kui Lun?
Fong Kui Lun is a Malaysian politician and a member of the Democratic Action Party. He is the Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang and the DAP treasurer.
On 16th August, 2012, YB Fong Kui Lin courageously apprehended a snatch thief attempting to escape in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur. His responsive action with a punch to the shoulder managed to cause the thief to lose balance and fall. Other passer-by then made a citizen's arrest while awaiting for the police to arrive. His bravery and actions were applauded by Malaysian netizens.
