Who was Francisco García Calderón?
Francisco García Calderón Landa was a lawyer and president of Peru for a short seven-month period in 1881, during the War of the Pacific. His predecessor was Nicolás de Piérola, his successor was Lizardo Montero Flores. He established his name as an academic with his work on Peruvian Legislation Diccionario de la Legislación Peruana.
