Who is Gail H. Bates?
Gail Bates is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates. She was selected to replace Robert Kittleman in the Maryland House of Delegates in February 2002 when Kittleman was selected to replace Chris McCabe in the Maryland State Senate.
In the 2002 election, Bates defeated Democrats Walter E. Carson and Tony McGuffin to maintain her seat. in 2006, District 9A would be represented by two delegates. She won again along with fellow Republican Warren E. Miller, when they defeated Democrat David Leonard Osmundson.
