Gavin Ryan King is an Australian politician who represents Cairns in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. He was appointed Assistant Minister for Tourism on 3 April 2012. He was previously known for being a newspaper chief of staff and opinion columnist for News Limited He was appointed Assistant Minister for Tourism on the 3rd of April 2012 by Premier Campbell Newman.
