Geoffrey "Geoff" Clarkson was an English rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, playing representative level rugby union for Yorkshire, and at club level for Wakefield RFC, and playing representative level rugby league for Yorkshire, and at club level for Wakefield Trinity, Bradford Northern, Leigh, Warrington, Leeds, York, Bramley, Hull Kingston Rovers, Oldham and Featherstone Rovers, as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.
