Who was George Brown?
George Brown was a Scottish-born Canadian journalist, politician and one of the Fathers of Confederation; attended the Charlottetown and Quebec conferences. A noted Reform politician, he was also the founder and editor of the Toronto Globe, which is today known as The Globe and Mail.
