George Horatio Nelson, 1st Baron Nelson of Stafford, M.I.E.E. known as Sir George Nelson, 1st Baronet, from 1955 to 1960, was a British engineer, from 1933 the chairman of English Electric. Over nearly thirty years as its chairman George Nelson built up the number of English Electric's employees from 4,000 to 80,000.
