Who is Georges Delahaie?
Georges Delahaie was born 21 June 1933 in Saint-Lambert, Maine-et-Loire district, is an abstract and expressionist French sculptor. His work is often incorporates French allegorical symbolism, as in his statue of La Marseillaise.
He first studied at the École des Beaux-Arts d'Angers as a young man in the late 40's, and later in Paris at École des Beaux-Arts.
