Gerard I of Isenburg-Kempenich was a Lord of Isenburg-Kempenich.
Gerard was a son of Theodoric III of Isenburg-Kempenich. He succeeded his father before 1277, in which year he made his territories mediate to the Archbishopric of Trier. Gerard has two sons, but the name of his elder son is the only one known: Theodoric. The sons of Theodoric and the son of his other son eventually became embroiled in a succession war in 1330 - 1331.
