Who is Géry van Outryve d'Ydewalle?
Géry van Outryve d'Ydewalle is a Belgian scientist and professor of the Laboratory for experimental psychology at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. In 1992, he was awarded the Francqui Prize on Human Sciences. He has been elected as new permanent secretary of the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts in succession to professor Niceas Schamp, as of 1 September 2010.
