Who is Gilleasbuig Macmillan?

Gilleasbuig Iain Macmillan, CVO, FRSE is a minister of the Church of Scotland. From 1973 until his retirement in September 2013 he served as Minister of St Giles' Cathedral, in Edinburgh, Scotland, which is sometimes described as the mother church of Presbyterianism. He is Dean of the Thistle and a Chaplain to Queen Elizabeth II. As Dean of the Thistle he is styled "The Very Reverend".
