Who is Giorgi Arveladze?

Giorgi Arveladze is the former Georgian politician, the former member of the Cabinet of Georgia and the Ex-Minister of Economy of Georgia. He was appointed on November 20, 2006, following the resignation of his precursor Irakli Okruashvili.

Arveladze previously served as head of Administration of the President of Georgia. He has also been a member of parliament, served as the secretary general of the ruling United National Movement party, headed Georgia's Parliamentary permanent Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and been responsible for prison reform within the Ministry of Justice
