Who was Giorgio Ghezzi?
Giorgio Ghezzi, nicknamed "Kamikaze", was an Italian football player.
Born in Cesenatico, he started his career at Rimini and Modena, then played at Internazionale as goalkeeper for 7 years, from 1951 to 1958, for 191 total matches. He won 2 Serie A titles in 1953 and 1954.
At the end of 1958 he was sold to Genoa, and then, in the 1959 he came back to Milan, but on the other side: he played with A.C. Milan, where he won another Serie A title and the 1963 European Champions Cup.
