Who was Giovanni Moneri?
Giovanni Moneri was an Italian painter of the Baroque period.
He was born in Visone near Acqui in the Piedmont, and became the pupil of Giovanni Francesco Romanelli in Rome. He returned to paint an Assumption for the cathedral at Acqui and a Presentation at the Temple for the Capuchins.
