Who was Göran Kropp?
Göran Kropp was a Swedish adventurer and mountaineer born in Eskilstuna in south Sweden. He made a solo ascent of Mount Everest without bottled oxygen or Sherpa support in May 1996, for which he travelled only by bicycle from Sweden and back.
