Who was Gordon Sawley?
Gordon Sawley was an Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne in the Victorian Football League. He joined the VFL while on RAAF duties, and was killed in a training accident over Scotland. His brother, Albert Sawley, played at Norwood and St Kilda.
