Who was Harry Buck?
Harry Crowe Buck was a physical education instructor and coach in the United States and in India. He founded the YMCA College of Physical Education in 1920. He has been called "The Father of Physical Education in India".
Before his work in India, Buck was the ninth head college football coach for Fairmount College located in Wichita, Kansas and he held that position for two seasons, from 1914 until 1915. His overall coaching record at Fairmount College was 6 wins, 8 losses, and 2 ties.
