Who is Hadi Saei Bonehkohal?
Hadi Saei Bonehkohal is a former Iranian Azeris Taekwondo athlete who became the most successful Iranian athlete in Olympic history after winning gold in the 2008 Summer Olympics. He competed in the Men's 68 kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the gold medal. In addition, he competed in the Men's 80 kg at the 2008 Summer Olympics and won his second olympic gold. Earlier in his career and in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Saei had won the bronze medal. He was elected as member of City Council of Tehran in 2006 local elections and was reelected in 2013. On 24 July 2011, he was elected as chairman of the Nassaji Mazandaran.
