Who was Hank Bauer?
Henry Albert "Hank" Bauer was an American right fielder and manager in Major League Baseball. He played with the New York Yankees and Kansas City Athletics; he batted and threw right-handed. He served as the manager of the Athletics in both Kansas City and in Oakland, as well as of the Baltimore Orioles, becoming the winning manager of the 1966 World Series, four games to none, over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
