Who is Haribon Chebani?
Haribon Chebani was the Provisional President of the Comoros from November 26, 1989 to November 27, 1989. He had previously been the chief of the Supreme Court. Chebani succeeded Ahmed Abdallah on the same day Abdallah was assassinated, and was a member of the same political party, the Comorian Union for Progress. On the twenty-seventh, he was removed from office by French mercenary Bob Denard.
