Who was Harold Barron?
Harold Earl Barron was an American athlete who competed mainly in the 110 metre hurdles.
He competed for the United States in the 1920 Summer Olympics held in Antwerp, Belgium in the 110 metre hurdles where he won the Silver medal.
He was born in Berwyn, Pennsylvania and died in San Francisco, California. He and Ann Morgan Barron had one son, Joseph Charles Barron. He married Margaret Louise Holtsnider and had four children. David Joseph, Roxanne Elizabeth, Patrick Francis and Laura Loretta. Later re-married Judith Lee Buyan and had four more children. Michael Jay, Catherine Lee, John Buyan and Colleen Babette who then proceeded to have 8 grandchildren.
