Who was Harriet Bland?
Harriet Claiborne Bland was an American athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres.
She competed for the United States in the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany in the 4 x 100 metres where she won the gold medal with her team mates Annette Rogers, Betty Robinson and Helen Stephens who was the Olympic 100 metre champion.
