Who was Harry Beresford?
Harry Beresford was a stage actor in London and New York before going on the screen. He was also a screen writer and novelist.
Between 1926 and 1938 he appeared as a supporting actor in fifty-six films, including The Sign of the Cross, Doctor X, I Cover the Waterfront, and David Copperfield.

Henry William Walter Horsely Beresford, younger brother of Lord Decies, died suddenly at his farm. He was in London only a week ago, apparently in good health. etc. etc. Captain Beresford married, in 1904, Constance, widow of Michael Levenston, well known in musical comedy and vaudeville as Kitty Gordon.]
