Who was Harry Brittain?
Sir Henry Ernest Brittain, KBE was a British journalist and Conservative politician.
Harry Brittain, as he was known, was born at Ranmoor, Sheffield, and was the son of W. H. Brittain. Following education at Repton School, Rossall School and Worcester College, Oxford, he entered training in business at Sheffield. In 1897 he was called to the Bar at the Inner Temple, but did not practice.
