Who was Harry Corner?
Harry Richard Corner was an English cricket player. He was educated at Blundell's School and was a member of Great Britain's gold medal winning cricket team at the 1900 Summer Olympics, the only time to date that cricket has featured in the Olympics. In the only match against France, he scored four runs in Great Britain's first innings, and did not bat in the second. He also took one wicket in the French second innings and a catch in their first. Nothing is known of his cricket career aside from the Olympics. He was a partner in a firm of wool merchants.
