Who is Harry Hands?
Sir Harry Hands, K.B.E, was a British colonial politician.
Born as a son of Josiah Hands of Kings Norton, Warwickshire in 1860, he was educated at King Edward School in Birmingham and married Aletta C., daughter of Philip Myburgh. He was a member of the legislative assembly of the Cape Colony from 1912–1913 and 1916-1918 he served as mayor of Cape Town.
