Who is Harry Nelis?

As a General Partner at Accel, Harry Nelis has been involved in technology startups and large technology companies in the U.S. and Europe for almost two decades. He focuses primarily on software and internet investments, and currently serves on the board of directors of Double Fusion, Kayak, KDS, Netvibes and Spreadshirt. Prior to joining Accel, Harry was at Perry Capital, an $8 billion hedge fund, where he focused on investments in public communications, media and technology companies. Prior to that, he was a member of Goldman Sachs' London-based investment banking team, advising leading European communications, media and technology companies on corporate finance and MA transactions. He was the founder of Palo Alto-based E-motion, a venture-backed startup focused on digital asset management, and started his career at Hewlett-Packard. Harry holds a master's degree and PhD from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
