Who is Hélder Postiga?

Hélder Manuel Marques Postiga is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Spanish club Deportivo de La Coruña as a striker.

After starting professionally at Porto, Postiga spent one season with Tottenham Hotspur, then returned to Porto, who loaned him briefly to Saint-Étienne and Panathinaikos. In his Porto career and three seasons at Sporting, he amassed Primeira Liga totals of 185 games and 49 goals over the course of ten seasons. Postiga left Sporting for Real Zaragoza in 2012 and has since represented Valencia, and Lazio on loan, before joining Deportivo in 2014.

A Portuguese international on 70 occasions, Postiga represented the country in two World Cups and three European Championships, helping the national team reach the final at Euro 2004. With 27 goals, he ranks sixth in Portugal's all-time international goalscorers.
