Who is Helmut Maier?
Helmut Maier is a German mathematician. Specializing in number theory, he has made significant progress in the study of the twin prime conjecture. He proved Maier's theorem.
Maier received his Ph.D. in 1981 from the University of Minnesota, with a dissertation on the application of sieve theory. He is currently a professor at the University of Ulm.
