Who was Henry Ainley?
Henry Hinchliffe Ainley was an English Shakespearean stage and screen actor.
A close friend of the writer Roland Pertwee, he was the godfather of his son Jon who played the lead role in Doctor Who from 1970 to 1974 and returned in the 1983 story The Five Doctors playing opposite Anthony Ainley.
