Who is Henry Bagiire?
Henry Aggrey Bagiire is a Ugandan educator and politician. He served as the State Minister for Agriculture in the Ugandan Cabinet, from 16 February 2009 until 27 May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, he was dropped from the cabinet and was replaced by Zerubabel Nyiira. He also served as the elected Member of Parliament, for "Bunya County West", Mayuge District, from 2006 until 2009. During the 2011 national elections, he lost to his friend and neighbor, Vincent Bagiire, during the National Resistance Movement primaries. Vincent Bagiire is now the incumbent MP for that constituency.
