Who is Henry Cotto?

Henry Cotto is a former professional baseball outfielder. He played all or part of ten seasons in Major League Baseball, from 1984 until 1993. He also played one season in Japan for the Yomiuri Giants in 1994, winning a world championship. After a brief return to the minor leagues in 1995, he retired.

Since 1996, Cotto has been a coach in the farm system of the Seattle Mariners. Cotto served as a hitting instructor for the Everett Aquasox from 2007-2010. Currently, Cotto is a roving instructor for the San Francisco Giants farm system.

Cotto is also the namesake of a satirical sports blog, "Henry Cotto's Mustache".
