Who was Henry of Ghent?
Henry of Ghent was a scholastic philosopher, known as Doctor Solemnis, and also as Henricus de Gandavo and Henricus Gandavensis. Between the death of Thomas Aquinas in 1274 and the arrival of Duns Scotus in the early 14th century he was the leading Augustinian.
