Who was Henry Schwarzschild?
Henry Schwarzschild was an activist for civil rights and human rights. He was a fighter for the American Civil Rights Movement and later on became involved in the fight against capital punishment. He founded the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, Lawyer's Constitutional Defense Committee, and headed up the American Civil Liberties Union's Capital Punishment Project.
