Herman "Wimpy" Jones was a businessman who served as a Democratic member of the Louisiana State Senate from Bossier and Webster parishes for a single term from 1956 to 1960. He was also the state fire marshal for Minden and for a time the sergeant at arms of the Louisiana House of Representatives.
