Who is Hossam Ghaly?

Hossam El Sayed Ghaly is an Egyptian international footballer who plays professionally for Belgian club Lierse. Ghaly plays mainly as a central midfielder, less frequently as a right full-back and due to injuries even an outside midfielder.

He has played 55 international matches for Egypt since his debut in 2002, and was part of their squads for the 2004 African Cup of Nations and their victory in the same tournament in 2010.

Ghaly played for Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League between 2006 and 2009. His time at the club was marked by scandals.
