Who was Hristo Matov?
Hristo Apostolov Matov was a prominent Bulgarian Macedonian revolutionary, philologist, folklorist and publicist, principal of the Bulgarian Men's High School of Thessaloniki, and one of the leaders of the Bulgarian Macedonian-Adrianople Revolutionary Committees. Matov was born in 1872 in Struga, Ottoman Empire and died in 1922 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
