Who is Hugh Bonneville?

Hugh Richard Bonneville Williams, known professionally as Hugh Bonneville, is an English stage, film, television and radio actor. He is best known for starring in the ITV hit television series Downton Abbey and the BBC London Olympics mockumentary comedy series Twenty Twelve.

Bonneville also starred as Bernie in Notting Hill. From 2011, he has been the narrator of the Channel 4 show The Hotel, for all three series. In 2013, he made a brief appearance as the Duke of Milan for the opening episode of Da Vinci's Demons.
