Who was Humphrey Jones?
Humphrey Jones was a Welsh footballer. He began his career with Friars School before joining Bangor. This was followed by a spell at Swifts F.C., before he moved to Scotland to represent Queen's Park and East Stirlingshire. Between 1885 and 1891 he picked up 14 caps for Wales, five of which were won at East Stirlingshire which, to this day, remains a club record for most capped player.
