Who is Humphrey Taylor?

Humphrey Vincent Taylor was the sixth Suffragan Bishop of Selby.

He was educated at Twyford, Harrow and Pembroke College, Cambridge. Ordained in 1963 he began his career with a Curacy in Hammersmith and was then successively Rector of Lilongwe, MalaƔi, a Chaplain at Bishop Grosseteste College in Lincoln, a Church administrator before ascending to the Episcopate -a post he held from 1991 until 2003. In retirement he continues to minister, as an Assistant Bishop within the Diocese of Worcester.
