Who is Ian Rickson?
Ian Rickson is a British theatre and film director. He was the Artistic Director at the Royal Court Theatre in London from 1998 to 2006, and currently works freelance.
In 2009 he was made an Honorary Professor for Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Kent's School of Arts.
A former pupil of John Roan School in Greenwich, he still lives in south-east London and is married to Polly Teale.
