Who is Ibn Nusayr?
Abu Shu'ayb Muhammad ibn Nusayr was a disciple of the tenth Twelver Shi'a Imam, Ali al Hadi and the eleventh Imam, Hasan al Askari. Ibn Nusayr proclaimed being the door of al-Askari and the twelfth Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi during the Minor Occultation,. The followers of Ibn Nusayr are known as: Nusairyoon or Alawi.
