Ilyana Iotova

Who is Ilyana Iotova?

Ilyana Malinova Iotova is a Bulgarian politician and Member of the European Parliament. She is a member of the Coalition for Bulgaria, part of the Party of European Socialists, and became an MEP on 1 January 2007 with the accession of Bulgaria to the European Union.

She currently is a full Member of the Committee on Fisheries, the Committee on Petitions, and on the delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly as well as being the Vice- Chair on the delegation to the EU-Moldova Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.

She is also substitute on the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, on the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, and on the delegation for relations with the Maghreb countries and the Arab Maghreb Union.
