Who is Irene Pepinghege?
Irene Peppinhege is a West German sprint canoer who competed in the early to mid-1970s. She won two medals in the K-4 500 m event at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a silver in 1971 and a bronze in 1970.
Peppinhege also competed in three Summer Olympics, earning her best finish of fourth in the K-1 500 m event at Munich in 1972.
