Issa T. Salomi is an Iraqi American civilian contractor who was kidnapped on January 23, 2010, and held by a Shiite Iraqi militia group. He was released on March 25, 2010, in exchange for the release of four Iraqi prisoners. Salomi returned to his hometown of El Cajon, California a few days later.
