Who was Ivy Wedgwood?
Dame Ivy Evelyn Wedgwood, DBE was an Australian Senator for Victoria.
Wedgwood was the first female Senator to represent Victoria. During her 21 year term, which ran from 1950 to 1971, in 1968 she became the first woman to chair a Senate Committee.
