Who is J-EyE?

J-EyE is an American record producer, songwriter, singer and rapper from Brooklyn, New York. Through his unique musical style, he creates songs that combine an ambitious and aggressive blend of hip-hop, R&B and pop. J-EyE insists that he is referred to as an "artist" because with his ability to write, sing and produce, the music he creates is on such broad scale that calling him just a "rapper" would be an understatement. In hopes of creating his own buzz within the music industry, J-EyE wrote, recorded and digitally released his debut album, “iBelieve” independently in 2008 through iTunes.

J-EyE's stage name is derived from his belief that he represents everyone with a journey and the only way to accomplish those things is to work hard, stay focused and keep your “eye on your journey”.

Back in 2006, managerial connections led J-EyE to a chance meeting in Miami with super producer Timbaland, who invited him to the Hit Factory studios. There the rising artist/song-writer/producer rubbed elbows with industry elite such as Missy Elliott, Jennifer Lopez, Scott Storch, Baby and Mannie Fresh. He spent several months in Miami and wrote and recorded songs with Timbaland and his protégé Danja.
