Who is Jack Cecil Collins?

Jack Cecil Collins was an Australian rules footballer who played with Fitzroy and Essendon in the VFL.

Collins, who was recruited locally to Fitzroy, kicked seven goals in a game against St Kilda at Brunswick Street in his debut season.

He finished his career with a premiership at Essendon in 1950, where he played on the wing in the Grand Final win.

His sons Daryl and Denis both played in the VFL during the 1970s.
