Who was Jack Lively?

Henry Everett "Jack" Lively was a right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball, playing for the Detroit Tigers during the 1911 season. Born in Joppa, Alabama, he played in 18 games for the 1911 Tigers, compiling a record of 7–5 with 10 complete games, and a 4.59 ERA. He had a .256 batting average with two doubles, a triple, and four RBIs. Lively played his last major league game on October 6, 1911. Lively died at age 82 in 1967 at Arab, Alabama. His son, Buddy Lively played for the Cincinnati Reds in the 1940s.
